In the beginning…
The legacy of Ron May Towing began in 1965 when Ron May opened the doors at the corner of 37th and Broadway in Everett, WA. Later on he moved the company to 41st and Hoyt for a towing and Auto Repair shop. When Ron May passed away February 17th 1995, Jon Larson purchased the company. Continuing Ron’s legacy, Jon moved the company to 2406 39th street and built upon the already successful business with the addition of a new building and shop. Keeping the Ron May name was essential as he had established the company in Everett, WA and was well known by many in the community. Jon ran the company until November 22nd 2005.
Jim Zelmer and Dolly Holtzworth long time friends, purchased the company from Jon after working for him for 7 years. They continue to own and operate the company today at the 39th street location today with many of the same faithful customers that were established by Ron May.
